Great Plains Balloon Race

I got up wicked early this morning to shoot the annual Great Plains Balloon Race in Sioux Falls. It was a beautiful morning with a light wind and clear skies. John Ninomiya of San Diego was there with his cluster of helium balloons as well. Click here for a multimedia slideshow I produced of him attempting to fly two years ago in Montague, CA.

While I do enjoy the t-shirt I’m not quite sure it’s appropriate for work. This guy was with a Japanese TV station from LA at a Chelsea Clinton event today.
